Heinrich Nuss begins transporting goods for residents around Lane Cove using a single horse and cart.
It is the beginning of a family moving business that later generations of the Nuss family would continue under the NUSS name.
1920s
From Horsepower to Motor Vehicles
The second generation introduces motor vehicles to the business, allowing NUSS to carry larger loads and service more Sydney households as the city continues to expand.
Lane Cove remains the home of the business.
1980s
Moving Beyond Australia
NUSS expands into international relocations, taking the family business well beyond Sydney and interstate moving.
During this period, NUSS also became involved with FIDI, beginning a relationship with the international moving network and quality standards that continue to form part of its overseas operations today.

The fourth generation of the Nuss family now continues the business from Lane Cove.
