Removals Into Storage
Nuss storage facilities are second to none and provide you with a flexible handling solution as well as a safe and secure environment. Specialised vehicles bring the storage units, either wooden modular “Nusstainers” or steel storage containers, direct to your residence. An inventory is taken to ensure that all items in the container/s are numbered, listed and tagged and this all takes place at your home in one movement – no double handling involved.
As we know which items are in which container we are able to locate them quickly and with minimal disturbance to the other items should you need to retrieve goods at a later date. This system greatly reduces “handling” and therefore damage. All our storage facilities are maintained to the highest standards and are installed with back to base security monitoring.
Our storage options are flexible and provide for:
- Long or short term arrangements
- Pay by the cubic metre not by the unit (Subject to minimum charges)
- Large or oversized items can be accommodated
- Fine Art or Antiques may be stored
Storage Packing
When placing your belongings into storage everything must be packed with care and with adequate protection. Our packing teams are trained professionals and well versed in all packing techniques and material usage to ensure the safety of your items in transit.
Our material stock includes specialist cartons for Plasma TVs, wine, clothing, cycles and much more. We have a full range of protective wrapping products for furniture and for antique/fine art items. Special crating is also available for those extra fragile and valuable pieces. Storage Insurance
Nuss has an unrivalled reputation for quality but with so many outside influences it is possible that occasionally damage or loss can occur. It is therefore recommended that insurance cover be taken out to ensure that in the event of damage or loss, your belongings and liabilities are covered.Taking the precaution of arranging insurance coverage will also provide peace of mind while your belongings are in transit or in storage.
You have a number of cover options with Nuss ranging from Full cover to Restricted cover. We recommend that you discuss your insurance needs with one of our qualified consultants. Your move coordinator is qualified and able to provide you with information regarding the type of cover available to you.
The Financial Services reform act requires than any Moving company arranging insurance cover MUST be appropriately qualified and licensed. Nuss is an authorised representative of Aldridge & Street, which holds Australian Financial Services License No. 245658.
The legislation requires that only employees that have undertaken and passed a stringent training course may discuss insurance with clients; those employees are qualified to explain what options are available to you and can then arrange cover for storage insurance based on your personal choice.
